Buddhism encompasses a rich pantheon of deities, each representing various aspects of the teachings and serving different spiritual functions. These deities are often revered as manifestations of different qualities of the enlightened mind, such as wisdom, compassion, and protection.

    GREEN TARA

    Tara is a female bodhisattva associated with compassion and protection. Green Tara, who represents active compassion and protection.

    Green Tara is depicted with a green body, often seated with one leg extended, ready to spring into action. 

    Medicine Buddha (Bhaisajyaguru)

     The Medicine Buddha is associated with healing and medicine. He is invoked for both physical and spiritual healing and is often revered in Tibetan and Mahayana Buddhism.

    The Medicine Buddha is depicted with a blue body, holding a bowl of medicinal nectar in his left hand and a myrobalan plant (a symbol of healing) in his right hand.

    Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig)

    The Bodhisattva of Compassion, Avalokiteshvara embodies the infinite compassion of all Buddhas. In Tibet, he is known as Chenrezig and is believed to be the patron deity of Tibet.

    Avalokiteshvara is often depicted with multiple arms (usually four or a thousand) and multiple heads (sometimes eleven) to represent his ability to help all beings in need. His mantra is "Om Mani Padme Hum."
